Double E Promotions Team

Since 1980, Perry Edge has worked relentlessly in the field of music promotions, wetting his feet in the Country Music industry and perfecting his craft along the way. While working alongside his brother Maynard, Perry founded Double E Promotions and would soon witness the fruits of their labor as a few of his client's songs would record on the Country Music Billboard Charts. Perry would meet and work with many County Music Greats, including Tim McGraw, Bill Anderson, Dottie West, Tom T. Hall, Vern Gosden, and O.B. McClinton.

After Maynard left Double E to pursue other business ventures, Vikki Barnes Edge, whom Perry wed in 2000, joined him as a partner, helping to run day to day business. Perry, along with his wife Vikki, has an eighteen-year-old son named Johnathon and attend Wheeler Baptist Church in Wheeler, MS. Living in the Booneville/Prentiss County area all his life, Perry has been a vital part of the community throughout the past few years. He's actively been involved in several community and charitable events.

J Presley Edge, Vice President of Double E Promotions​

Johnathon Presley Edge, nicknamed JP, is the 18-year-old son on Perry and Vikki Edge. Johnathon currently attends Northeast Mississippi Community College where he is a full-time student. He attends Wheeler Baptist Church and is avidly involved in their youth group and occasionally performs guitar during services.
​
He has been working at his dad's other business, Edge Auto Auction, in their hometown of Booneville, MS since he was very little and is very involved with the business currently. Recently, Johnathon began working for his dad on the Double E side of things. He has taken over the web designer role and is now Vice President of Double E.
​
With his father being in the music industry, Johnathon has had the privilege to meet several stars of Country and Gospel Music over the years. These include Josh Turner, Lee Brice, Gene Watson, Ronnie McDowell, Marty Raybon, and was even on stage at the Grand Ole Opry with T. Graham Brown at the age of 2!

Johnathon is an avid guitar player, who plays almost every single day. He learned at the age of 6 from the teaching of Shenandoah lead guitar player and hometown friend Jamie Michael.

He quotes Deuteronomy 31:6 as one of his favorite bible verses, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsakeyou."
Vikki Edge, Graphic Designer & Advertiaing Manager

Vikki Edge is the wife of Perry and the mother of Johnathon Edge. She currently designs logos, banners, business cards, magazine ads, and any other graphic-related needs for our company and artists. She attended Baldwyn High School before venturing to Northeast Mississippi Community College where she graduated in 1990. She then began teaching special education at Wheeler High School in Wheeler, MS. In 1998, after deciding to leave teaching, she began to work for a local newspaper company.

Vikki and Perry Edge wed in 2000 and she began working at Perry's car auction in Booneville. In 2007, when Perry decided to begin promoting music again, Vikki became a major key in the business. She attends many music conventions and does a lot of behind the scenes work that keeps Double E running properly.

Vikki enjoys scrapbooking, researching genealogy, and going to yard sales and flea markets.
Norma Beene, Radio Promotions

The manager of Double Es Radio Promotions Department, Norma Beene, began as a volunteer. After a few years in that role, she decided she enjoyed it so much, she would make a career promoting Gospel Artists and excepted Perry's offer for the position as manager. In the past, Norma managed a family-owned business, where she worked with her father. She has also worked several years for Perry and Vikki Edge at their second business, Edge Auction Sales, Inc.

Through her radio promotional work for the Double E roster, Norma has developed several friendships with radio DJs across the U.S. and helped to make Double E Promotions a recognized name in the gospel music industry. Norma has also been very instrumental working with Double E Clients to obtain impressive placements on several national music charts, including three of Allen Frizzell's singles which have placed in the No. 1 spot on Christian music charts.

Norma is dedicated to Double E Promotions where she enjoys working with the artists, the fans, the radio DJs, and the visitors that stop by her office. It has been an honor and pleasure to work at Double E Promotions. Perry and Vikki have always been so good to me. I love my job and see a very good future for Double E Promotions. I'm just excited to be part of it!
Norma is married to Brian Beene and has two daughters, Madison and Larkin.
Bev McCann, Client Services & Recording Studio Services

Bev McCann is not only a profound singer, songwriter, Ordained Minister, and Gospel Music industry leader; she is also the A & R and Radio Promotions Director of Godsey and Associates.
Moreover, she is a wife, mother of four children, Nine Grand Children, and is a successful entrepreneur with her sister of their very own candy-making company called E-Sweets Candy.
Bev is thrilled that she has been nominated in the USAGEM Awards as a top-five nominee for The Female Vocalist of the Year Award. She has also been nominated in the top 10 Female Vocalist of the Year in the Diamond Awards for several years.

Bev is on the Board of USAGEM and Music City Christian Fellowship organizations in the Nashville area. She participates in the Sunday Mornin Country show, taped live at the Grand Ole Opry House every year during CMA Week in Nashville TN.
Bev has enjoyed Singing and spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to thousands for over the past 20 years. Bev says It has been such a wonderful experience working for the Lord and being busy about the masters business and seeing so many lives changed and healed by the Grace and Mercy of our wonderful God and Savior. Gerald Smith, Producer

Songwriter Gerald Smith is originally from Statesboro, GA and has resided in Nashville, TN since 1985. A prolific writer, Smith penned such number one hits as "What Part of No" for Lorrie Morgan and "Every Second" For Collin Raye. He has also written songs for George Strait, George Jones, Johnny Rodriquez, Justin McBride, and many others.

Gerald is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a BS Degree in Education. Known as the "Georgia Quacker" from the nationally syndicated television show Hee Haw, Gerald has performed on stage with such greats as Barbara Mandrell, Jerry Reed, Ricky Van Shelton, Waylon Jennings, George Lindsey, Buck Trent, Roy Acuff, Percy Sledge, Grandpa Jones, Mike Snyder, T Graham Brown, Minnie Pearl, Lulu Roman, Roni Stoneman, and many more.

In the late 2000s, Gerald teamed up with Double E Promotions and debuted on the Christian Country charts with a song about his father called "Shorty Was a Big Man" which reached all the way to number two. Gerald has continued working with Perry Edge and Double E for the past decade. He has recently decided to become a producer and continue to help Double E.
